Airplane Tours
Vacationing in a serene place? Thinking of things to do? Then why not take a guided tour on board a sightseeing plane. These tours can take a person on a bird's eye view of the mountains, or the ocean depending on the area's terrain.
An airplane guided tour will show panoramic views of beauty that cannot be seen by an automobile. The tour can either be done by a regular plane or a seaplane. Think of the beauty of flying over the Grand Canyon or a glacier in Alaska. In fact, Alaska is so pristine that most plane tours are given in seaplanes. Get a bird's-eye view of the different mountains ranges. Fly over the Rockies, the Cascades, the Blue-Ridge, or the Appalachians.
Flying over the ocean can let a person peer down on a school of dolphins, or whales or even seals. A plane can fly very low over a body of water because there are no obstacles, allowing you to see marine life you'd never glimpse by car or by rail. One may be able to see marine life by boat, but because of his or her angle of viewing, only a few of the school may be seen rather than the mass of animals in its entirety.
Before you board the plane, make sure you have a camera and a pair of binoculars in hand. There will be many pictures to take, and much to see through the binoculars.
